Hosted by the LSE Arts Lunchtime Concert Series

Shaw Library, 6th floor, Old Building

The international musicians of the Rosamunde Trio – Martino Tirimo, Ben Sayevich and Daniel Veis - have been performing together since 2002 and have since then covered all the major piano trio repertoire including all the trios of Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Brahms and Shostakovich.

Described by critics as “one of the finest Trios in the world”, the Rosamunde Trio has toured extensively in the UK and have also performed in festivals and major venues in the USA, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, Greece, Cyprus and the Czech Republic. The Trio’s recordings include the Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich Trios, as well as Dvorak’s Trios, all recorded in Prague at the Liechenstein Palace.

Performance to include:

Tchaikovsky - Piano Trio in A minor Op. 50

The next lunchtime concert is on Thursday 21 November and will be performed by Gerthrudur Anna Gudmundsdottir (cello) and Antoine Préat (piano).

Join the LSE Choir and Orchestra on Tuesday 10 December for the LSE Christmas Concert in the beautiful surroundings of St Clement Danes Church.

More about this event

Just economics and politics? Think again. While LSE does not teach arts or music, there is a vibrant cultural side to the School - from weekly free music concerts in the Shaw Library, and an LSE orchestra and choir with their own professional conductors, various film, art and photographic student societies and regular public exhibitions.
