Meet our speakers and chair
Tali Sharot is the Director of the Affective Brain Lab. She is Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience in the Department of Experimental Psychology and The Max Planck UCL Centre for Computational Psychiatry at University College London and on the faculty of the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT. Sharot holds a BA in Economics and Psychology from Tel Aviv University and a PhD from New York University. Sharot is known for explaining deep ideas about human behaviour in an accessible way and highlighting how those insights can be implemented in a range of fields including finance, marketing, health and public policy. Her books, The Influential Mind: What the Brain Reveals About Our Power to Change Others and The Optimism Bias: A Tour of the Irrationally Positive Brain, have been widely praised.
New York Times bestselling author Cass R. Sunstein (@CassSunstein) is Robert Walmsley University Professor at Harvard, as well as founder and director of the Program on Behavioral Economics and Public Policy at Harvard Law School. He is the co-author of Nudge and Noise.
Nikki Sullivan is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Before joining LSE, she was a Postdoctoral Associate working in Psychology and Neuroscience and Fuqua’s Marketing Department at Duke University.
