Alice Neary enjoys a varied performing career as a chamber musician and as Principal Cellist of the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
Familiar to listeners of Radio 3, her festival performances include BBC Proms chamber series, Malboro (USA), Bath International, Santa Fe (USA) and Lofoten. Her discography includes the Mendelssohn cello sonatas and concertos by Howells, Patterson and Tovey. She is the winner of several international prizes including the distinguished Pierre Fournier Award in 1998.
Viv McLean won First Prize at the Maria Canals Piano Competition in Barcelona, and has performed in all the major venues and with the major orchestras in the UK as well as throughout Europe, Japan, Australia and the USA. Viv plays regularly with leading soloists and in chamber music players.
