Iyad Sughayar (piano)

Hosted by the LSE Arts Lunchtime Concert Series

Shaw Library, 6th Floor, Old Building

Iyad has appeared with several leading orchestras and has given recitals in many venues including Wigmore Hall, Bridgewater Hall & Stoller Hall and the Steinway Hall in New York and is a recent prize-winner at the Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT) International Auditions.

Iyad's debut album was described by Gramophone as ‘exhilarating and delivered with perfect clarity’ and ‘an outstanding debut’ by BBC Music Magazine.

Khachaturian - Poem (1927)

Mozart - Piano Sonata in G, K287

Schumann - Faschingsschwank aus Wien, op.26

Sibelius - Pieces op.24 Nos 1-5

The next lunchtime concert is on Thursday 2 March and will be performed by Simon Callaghan and the Piatti String Quartet.

Join the LSE Choir and Orchestra on Tuesday 28 March for the LSE Spring Concert in the beautiful surroundings of St Clement Danes Church.
