John Merriman is the Charles Seymour Professor of History at Yale University. He is the author of Massacre: The Life and Death of the Paris Commune and a recipient of the American Historical Association’s award for a career of Distinguished Scholarship.
Robin Archer is the Director of the postgraduate programme in political sociology and the Director of the Ralph Miliband Programme at LSE.
