Tata Motors is ranked in the top half on the Fortune Global 500 list of the world's biggest corporations. The Automotive Mission Plan 2016-26 (AMP 2026) is the collective vision of Government of India and the Indian Automotive Industry on where the Vehicles, Autocomponents, and Tractor industries should reach over the next ten years in terms of size, contribution to India’s development, global footprint, technological maturity, competitiveness, and institutional structure and capabilities. Simultaneously the plan poses an hitherto unadressed conflict between growth and sustainability, security, new infrastructure and progressive business models. Guenter Butschek will be in conversation with Philipp Rode, Executive Director of LSE Cities.
