Epstein Lecture 2024: 217 Million Census Records: evidence from linked census data
7th March, 6.30-8pm (Auditorium, Centre Building, and online),

We are delighted to announce that Professor James Feigenbaum will deliver our annual Epstein Lecture, in which he will show how the ability to link individuals over time, and between databases, means that new avenues of research opened us, thus allowing us to track intergenerational mobility, assimilation, discrimination, and the returns to education.

James is an Assistant Professor in the Boston University Department of Economics. He is also a Faculty Research Fellow at the NBER in the Development of the American Economy program and a Junior Faculty Fellow at BU’s Hariri Institute for Computing.
