On Thursday 30 July, from 4pm-5:30pm BST, LSE Cities Director Ricky Burdett will speak as part of the International Forum Global Cities Cooperation against COVID-19, jointly organised by Regional Plan Association and Pro Bogotá. This conference aims to strengthen cooperation among global cities to tackle the emergency and rebuild cities as more prosperous, equitable, and sustainable after COVID-19.
Burdett will speak on Panel #3, Lessons learned to improve city planning, alongside Enrique Peñalosa, Former Mayor of Bogotá; Francisca Rojas, Urban Development and Housing Senior Specialist at the Interamerican Development Bank; and Moses Gates, Vice President of Housing and Neighborhood Planning, Regional Plan Association.
