On 28 April, LSE Cities' Executive Director Philipp Rode participated in the EGI workshop on Multilevel Governance and Emergency Coordination, hosted as part of the current research cycle of the Emergency Governance Initiative for Cities and Regions (EGI). The objective of the workshop was to gather different experiences for a better comparative understanding of multilevel governance in the context of complex emergencies, identify critical new practices, and test the establishment of an evolving policy agenda on emergency governance. The discussions will feed into a Policy Brief on Multilevel Governance and Emergency Coordination to be published in the coming months.
