Sandra joined the Middle East Centre in September 2014. She has a BA in Politics and Economics and a Master's in Middle East Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS). Prior to becoming Project Manager, she was Events Coordinator responsible for managing the Centre’s events programme.
Sandra manages and coordinates the Centre's flagship Academic Collaboration with Arab Universities Programme, as well as the Iraq and MENA research for the Conflict Research Programme, and a three-year project on 'Managing Religious Diversity in the Middle East'.
Before joining the Centre, she completed an internship at Chatham House’s Press Office and has also worked in Arabic media.
