Priscilla joined the Middle East Centre for a sabbatical year from the International Monetary Fund, where she was working as desk economist for Palestine in the Middle East and Central Asia Department. Previously she has worked at the University of Leuven, the European Central Bank and the Bank of England.
Priscilla's research currently concentrates on how to design, build and maintain financial stability in societies torn apart by conflict, with a focus on Palestine. She is also involved in projects that aim at estimating the macroeconomic consequences of conflicts and natural disasters.
