About me

After graduating from the American University of Kuwait with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics in 2010, Mariam went on to earn her MA in Applied International and Financial Economics from KU in 2014, and an MSc in Economics from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland in 2019. She has been working at Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research in the Techno-Economics Division for 11 years as an economics research professional, assisting with the implementation of a variety of economic research studies and projects in policy economics, economic modelling, and socio-economic fields. Mariam’s research interest lies in the fields of economic development and socio-economic sciences. She has published many of her work with her peers in reputable journals: Journal of Economic Cooperation and Development, International Journal of Economic & Management Perspectives, Journal of Economic and Administrative Sciences, and Asian Journal of Business and Management Sciences.
