Paula is a third year PhD student in the Department of Economics at LSE. She holds an MSc in Quantitative Economics from the University of Munich (LMU) and a BA in Economics from the University of St. Gallen, and has previously worked in Monetary Analysis at the European Central Bank and in Financial Stability at the Deutsche Bundesbank.
Her main field of interest is macroeconomics, particularly empirical macroeconomics, monetary and financial economics. She currently works on inflation expectations, energy shocks, and risk spillovers in financial networks.
